Gabriel Correa Mister Supranational 2017

The second edition of Mister Supranational 2017 pageant took place on December 2, 2017 in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland. 34 finalists from around the globe competed for the coveted title of Mister Supranational 2017. At the end of the evening the newly crowned Miss Supranational 2017Jenny Kim handed over the winner’s trophy and sash to Gabriel Correa from Venezuela.

At the same pageant, Mister Supranational Spain 2017 Alejandro Cifo Capilla was adjudged 1st runner up, Mister Supranational Brazil 2017 Matheus Song was adjudged 2nd runner up, Mister Supranational Slovakia 2017 Michal Gajdosech was adjudged 3rd runner up, and Mister Supranational Mexico 2017 Hector Javier Parga won the 4th runner up award respectively.

The pageant commenced with the introduction round wherein the contestants were introduced in their national football uniform one by one. The contestants were introduced as per their continents at the grandest stage of all. Next up we had the swimwear round wherein all the finalists sashed down the ramp in their blue swimsuits with the hosts calling each contestants in a chronological order.

The judges for the finale included renowned names like Halina Mlynkova, Model, Ewa Zakrzewska, Mister Supranational 2016 Diego Garcy, Fashion Designer Claudius, Catalin Botezatu, Television presenter Agnieszka Hyzy, Miss Brazil CNB 2008, Ford model and columnist Tamara Almeida, Miss Polski 2015 Magdalena Bienkowska, President of Nowa Scena Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, and the newly crowned Miss Supranational 2017, Jenny Kim, of South Korea.

The finale was quite a star studded affair with splendid dance performance from renowned artists from across the globe. At the conclusion of the dance performance the focus shifted towards the Top 20 which commenced with Malta making the first cut among the 34 contestants. The other countries who made it to the Top 20 included Netherlands, Venezuela, Spain, Myanmar, Romania, Japan, Slovakia, Brazil, Poland, India, Panama, Indonesia, United States, Mexico, Philippines, Chile, Afghanistan, Puerto Rico, and Suriname.

In the special awards category Mister Supranational Bolivia was bestowed with friendship award at the grand finale of the pageant. Mister Supranational Indonesia won the Vodi Fan Favourite award which helped him gain a direct entry to the Top 10. Rest of the 9 countries included Venezeula, Malta, Spain, Slovakia, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, India, and the United States who inched a step closer to the crown.
