Dario Duque from the United States wins Mister Global 2018

Dario Duque representing the United States of America, won the Mister Global 2018 competition in Bangkok, Thailand on July 22nd.

The pageant was originally to take place on July 21st but was postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” according to the Mister Global Organization.

Dario is working as a professional model, a lifeguard and is currently studying paramedics. He previously won Iconic Model Search Florida 2017.

Dario will now serve as the spokesperson of the organization’s platform or advocacy which is Environmental Awareness and Educating the youth making the environment clean and safe.

Mr. Egypt was declared first runner up, Poland, South Africa and Thailand were second, third and fourth runner up respectively.

Vietnam, Venezuela, Brazil, Albania, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Germany, Hongkong, Korea, Puerto Rico and Philippines completed this year’s top 16.

Special awards were also given to the following delegates:

• Mr. Photogenic – Switzerland
• Mr. Popularity – Philippines
• Mr. Charming Smile – Denmark
• Best Talent – Netherlands
• Best Physique – Korea
• Best Model – Vietnam
• Best National Costume – Indonesia
