The Brazilian Éffora Consoli won the seventh crown for her country on Tuesday night.
Effora Consoli, a 17-year-old model from Santa Catarina, Brazil, beat 20 other contestants to win her country’s seventh international crown at the megaevent held in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She also won the award for Best National Costume at Miss Teen International 2023 in a preliminary contest supported by the authorities and she succeeds last year’s winner Yulienke Jacobs of South Africa.
To date, seven teenage women from Brazil have won the title of Miss Teen International – Ana Carina Gois in 1994, Renata Cavazzana in 1996, Vanessa Martins in 1998, Isabele Sanchez in 2008, Isabella Novaes (former Miss Grand International) in 2014, Julia Hemza in 2018 and Effora Consoli in 2023, becoming the most successful country in the history of the competition.

Rodrigo Moreira, president of the Miss Teen International Organization based in Ecuador said that after having obtained all intellectual property rights in Costa Rica and other Latin American countries as Brazil, Chile, Dominican Republic, Mexico, just to mention a few, the history of the pageant and the legacy of Enrique Gonzalez, former Director (from 1993 to 2014), continues.
