Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador wins Miss Supranational 2023

Andrea Aguilera is the first Ecuadorian to have won the pageant contest.

Andrea Aguilera from Ecuador was proclaimed Miss Supranational 2023 in ceremonies staged at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Poland, on July 14 (July 15 in Manila).

A 22-year-old Model, Andrea is currently taking up her bachelor’s degree in international business. Not new to pageantry, she has competed at Miss Grand International in 2021, finishing as 1st runner-up.

She bested 64 other aspirants to inherit the title from last year’s winner, Lalela Mswane, the first Miss Supranational queen from South Africa.

Settling for the first runner-up spot was Pauline Amelinckx from the Philippines, while Sancler Frantz from Brazil was second runner up.

Miss Supranational 2023: Arrivals in Polonia

Delegates from around the world arrived to Polonia for the pre-pageant events and activities

68 contestants from around the world are expected to compete in the upcoming Miss Supranational 2023 pageant to be held in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska.

The 14th Supranational experience runs from June 26 til July 14 in Nowy Sacz in Poland’s Malopolska region.

Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane visits Vietnam for the Harper’s Bazaar Awards

Miss Supranational, Lalela Mswane, touched down in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Monday night. Welcomed by a very excited crown, Lalela posed for photos and greeted the crowd who came to meet her. She will be in Vietnam for the week to attend the Harper’s Bazaar Star Awards and shoot magazine covers.

“My heart is so full. I did not expect such a huge and warm welcome. Vietnam is amazing and I can’t wait to experience the culture and get to know the country better,” a visibly excited Lalela said.

South Africa wins Miss Supranational 2022

Lalela Mswane of South Africa was crowned as the eventual winner of Miss Supranational 2022 pageant that took place in Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland.

The pageant hosted 69 beauties from across the globe for the contest. Chanique Rabe, the outgoing queen, crowned Lalela at the end of the event.

We also got to see the unveiling of new crown for Miss Supranational designed by Ricardo Patraca.

Namibia’s Chanique Rabe wins Miss Supranational 2021

In a first for the African continent, Miss Namibia, 24 year old Chanique Rabe, was crowned the 12th Miss Supranational in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska. She takes home a prize of $35,000 and a year’s representation by Nowa Scena, owners of the Miss Supranational Competition. Rabe is a qualified fashion designer and teaches sewing skills to young women and men as part of her ‘From the Ground Up’ initiative.

Karla Guilfu from Puerto Rico was named the first runner-up, while Dr. Thato Mosehle from South Africa, second runner-up. Venezuela‘s Valentina Sanchez and the Dominican Republic‘s Eoanna Constanza finished as third and fourth runners-up respectively.

The top 12 were completed by the contestants from Indonesia, Poland, Netherlands, the Philippines, India, Romania and Belgium. Completing the top 24 were the contestants from Brazil, Haiti, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Thailand, El Salvador, France and Japan.
